How it works
A Vantage photo postcard can include an optional printed QR code that opens an unlisted digital preview. Anyone with that link can open an unlisted preview; access-code protection adds an access requirement. The physical 4x6 postcard still works without scanning or a recipient app.

How the QR postcard works
When the sender includes a QR preview, Vantage places a QR code on the postcard back. Scanning it opens the digital postcard page associated with that mailed card.
The digital page can carry context that would clutter the printed note: the original image, delivery-related context, or a reply path.
A private photo and video gallery with Gold or Platinum
An active Gold membership supports up to 10 additional photos and one video of up to 60 seconds per memory. Platinum supports up to 25 additional photos and three videos totaling up to 180 seconds. Gallery access is a membership benefit, separate from the standalone postcard price.
Attach the gallery while creating your postcard, supply the recipient email, and keep the printed QR code and access-code protection enabled. The recipient scans the card and enters the code sent to their email. They can view the gallery in their browser without creating an account or installing an app.
Use it for the people who want the whole story: a travel blogger sharing moments with family, a student sending home a semester update, or a photographer adding the pictures that did not fit in print.
Privacy and indexing
New QR-linked previews are unlisted by default: anyone with the link or printed QR code can open them, but they are not listed in public search. Unlisted is not the same as access-code protection.
Enable access-code protection when the linked memory needs restricted access. Existing shared links keep their original settings. The printed photo, note, and mailing address remain visible on the physical postcard; protecting the online preview does not make the mail private.
Why QR works better than a long printed link
Postcards are read in kitchens, offices, dorm rooms, and hallways. A QR code is easier to scan than a long URL and leaves more room for the personal note.
The printed card remains the main keepsake. The digital layer is there for context, not as a replacement for the physical postcard.

Does a standalone postcard include the photo and video gallery?
No. A standalone postcard can include an optional digital preview. The additional photo and video gallery requires an active Gold or Platinum membership, recipient email, and access-code protection.
Does the recipient need an app or account?
No. They scan the printed QR code and open the gallery in their browser using the access code sent to their email.
Is the QR code required?
