What Vantage mails
Vantage creates a physical 4x6 postcard from your uploaded photo, printed note, recipient address, and optional digital preview QR code.
The recipient receives a real postcard by mail and does not need an account or app.
How metadata is handled
If your photo contains GPS and capture-date metadata, Vantage can use it for location and original-day weather context. If that data is missing, you can add a place manually or send without coordinates.
Vantage does not silently use your current device location to fill in missing photo metadata.
Privacy and access
QR previews can be protected with an access code and kept out of public search indexing.
Vantage is built for personal memories, not public feeds, and does not sell photo or address data.
Questions about Vantage postcards
What is Vantage Postcards?
Vantage Postcards turns a meaningful photo into a premium 4x6 physical postcard with optional location context, editable AI note suggestions for the printed message, U.S. postage, and a QR-linked digital preview with an optional caption.
Can I send a single postcard without a subscription?
Yes. You can send one postcard for $2.99 with U.S. postage included, or choose a monthly plan for included postcards.
Can I use more than one photo?
Yes. The default path keeps one photo simple, and the optional Photo Story controls let you combine up to four photos in split or grid layouts.
What happens if my photo does not include GPS metadata?
If GPS metadata is missing, Vantage does not automatically use your current device location. You can manually enter a place or address, or leave coordinates unknown. Weather can use the photo's original day when GPS and capture-date metadata are available; otherwise it falls back to current conditions or observed context.
Is the digital postcard public?
The printed QR code can open a digital preview where the optional caption appears online only, and senders can protect that memory with an access code. Protected postcards are kept out of public search indexing.
Can I add more photos or video behind the QR code?
Yes. Active Gold and Platinum members can attach a private Digital Memory gallery with additional photos and videos. The gallery requires a protected postcard, recipient email, printed QR code, and emailed access code.
What if the postcard is damaged or does not arrive?
Delivery support is available from the sender dashboard. Verified delivery failures can receive one replacement; reported damage or non-delivery is reviewed first, and returned mail requires an address correction.
Can Vantage remind me about birthdays and anniversaries?
Yes. Senders with a verified account email can save annual occasion reminders from the dashboard and choose an email 7, 14, or 30 days before. The reminder prompts you to create a postcard; it never sends or purchases one automatically.
Can I schedule a postcard to mail later?
Yes. At checkout, choose a mailing time from 15 minutes to one year ahead, then complete checkout. Vantage holds the postcard until that time before sending it to print and mail. The date you choose is a mailing date, not a guaranteed arrival date.
